Slowness reading RFID tags
A location is experiencing slowness reading tags when using LEAP. Has anyone experienced the same and how did you solve it?

We found that this is just inherent to the staffConnect Link software. It will be a little bit slower than staffConnect Circ (and the older smartstation manager Circ), because it “talks” with the LEAP instead of just blindly sending the item barcode and unsecuring the tag (like is the case with Circ). There is no fix for this, other than staff will have to get used to waiting a bit longer to take the item off the pad. We did test with placing 3 and 4 items at a time on the pad, and they checked out within ~2 seconds, so staff could also start placing more than one item on the pad to speed things up a little
