How do you desensitize an item a second time when using LEAP/Bibliotheca? A location has reported checking out an item, going through desensitizing it, and then discovering it didn't desensitize. Do you have to 'renew' the item in Polaris? Check it in and back out? Is there some setting in Bibliotheca?

We were able to reproduce the problem with the pad not unsecurring the tag if, during a checkout, a pop-up from LEAP appears on screen informing staff of a block or some other notification. If the item is taken off of the pad before the pop-up is accepted, the item is still checked out by LEAP, but it’s gone from the pad, so it can’t be unsecured anymore. The only workaround for that is what staff is currently doing, by manually unsecuring the tag using the Polaris client.
With staffConnect Link, there is no way to make it unsecure the tag outside of a checkout. We tried having staffConnect Circ open and use that as a workaround to unsecure the tag, but it is too much extra work to shut down link, start up Circ, unsecure the item, then shut down circ again and start up Link. I am contacting the Developers and Management right now to see if there is anything we can do to make this work with staffConnet Link. Currently, staff will have to watch for those pop ups, and when they happen, place the item back on the pad before accepting them
